Job Description

·         An ERP Business Analyst/Project Manager for our premier client in the Chicago metro area. This is a 6-month contract position for a full-service operating and implementation that works with select clients to assist in making and implementing major decisions around transitions and transactions to achieve optimal business outcomes.

·         The ERP Business Analyst/Project Manager must have consulting experience in a client-facing, billable role.

 

Technical Requirements

·         ERP Implementation, e.g. PeopleSoft, Workday, Salesforce and Callidus.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The ERP Business Analyst/Project Manager will assist an in place team with a large integration project in the client's consulting and professional services business. Ideal candidates will have a technical background and be comfortable in a client facing position. 

·         Provide detailed work flow analyses with comprehensive reports and guide client in developing those reports into project plans

·         Guide client in developing and managing software implementations for the ERP system, specific modules, and third-party products

·         Create process improvements in client communication, status, reporting and internal communication

·         Provide direction, mentorship and support for project coordinator and project management team

·         Directly project manage the most complex projects

·         Provide reporting to management on team utilization, scheduling and resource forecast

·         Provide guidance to the client with respect to the tasks and their role within the plan

·         Coordinate and manage internal and external parties to complete the integration within the required timeframe for the client by providing regular verbal and written status updates to clients and business partners

·         Conduct regular client project meetings to ensure adherence to project plan and milestones

·         Facilitate timely issue resolution related to the implementation while serving as a point of escalation on the client's behalf

·         Work with third-party vendors when applicable

·         Maintain a current portfolio of client implementations, monitoring requests to ensure aged items are escalated timely

·         May require travel or working on-site at client location in the Chicago or St. Louis offices to facilitate the implementation process

·         Provide support to team colleagues as required

 

Education and Training

·         Bachelor degree (or equivalent work experience)

Professional Experience

·         3+ years of experience ERP implementation or Integration Management

·         Project management, familiar with PeopleSoft, Workday, Salesforce, Callidus

 

Knowledge and Abilities

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Time management and organizational skills

·         Ability to adapt to a changing environment

·         Ability to work in a team environment, to guide the team and build successful relationships within the business community at the client site
