Experience & Qualifications:
·Must have EMC SA Certification on Isilon - Must
·Must have experience with NAS Technologies, including, but not limited to, EMC family of products (VNX, VMAX, VPLEX, Isilon, Data Domain, Recover Point) * Must
·8+ years of strong experience with various protocols (TCP/IP, FC, iSCSI, FCoE)
·EMC Celerra/VNX administration
·Creation of CIFS/NFS/Multiprotocol shares.
·Configure Snapshots, Celerra Replicator, CAVA and Usermapper.
·Knowledge of migrating data from old VNX appliance to new VNX/Isilon appliances.
·EMC Isilon Administration, SMB/NFS/Multiprotocol shares.
·Configure Smart Connect zones, Sync IQ, Snapshot IQ, AV Scans, LDAP integration.
·Unix skills and CLI experience of administering multiprotocol permissions.
·Troubleshooting CIFS and NFS issues.
·Knowledge of DFS links, Change Control procedures and Ticketing systems.
·Candidate must be able to write Shell or Perl scripts to automate daily management and reporting functions. Experience of volume management and multi-pathing on both Windows, VMware and
·UNIX
·Knowledge of Fiber Channel networking and other technologies necessary for architecting and supporting storage solutions
·Ability to provide off hours and weekend support for the enterprise storage infrastructure, as well as other duties as required and/or assigned
·Solid understanding of Networking, VMWare environments and Cloud Infrastructure
·Strong technical ability on multiple storage platforms (e.g. EMC VMAX3, EMC VNX, EMC Isilon, Brocade FC Switches, Cloud Infrastructure)
·Hand on experience on Adaptive Optimization, Performance monitoring and management using CLI and System Reporter, vendor management, FLASH CACHE, RAID protection
·Proficient Experience working in both Windows and Unix-based environment with comfortable familiarity with operating system commands and operations
·Fluent in English speaking and writing.
·Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
·Proven track record of being self-motivated with a desire to learn, proactive.
·Strong documentation skills.
·Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with team members and customers in other countries
·Willing to work in 24x7x365 shift rotation.
·Good interpersonal skills. Works effectively with persons in all levels of operation and of diverse cultural backgrounds, personalities and temperaments.
