Position: Sr Business Analyst with Retail Project Experience

Location: MOORESVILLE, NC

Duration: 6+ Months

Skills Needed:

·         Worked as a Business Analyst for a Retailer in area of 

o   Pricing and Pricing Strategy

o   Promotion

·         Would be part of a large Pricing Program for both Store and .com

·         Should be able to drive conversation at multiple level Director/Manager/Techie

·         Should have experience of working with 3^rd Part Software Companies

 

Job Description

 

Responsibilities:

·         Determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics to meet ongoing organizational needs.

·         Analyze and report on complex data sets.

·         Communicate complex data in comprehensible ways.

·         Critically evaluate information from multiple sources and indicate quality of final analysis

·         Act as a liaison between IT and business units by opening and maintaining lines of communication to monitor and improve business unit satisfaction with IT,

·         Provide a single point of contact for business units into IT and acts as a conduit between the two organizations

·         Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.

·         Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.

 

Requirements

·         BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS or related field

·         8+ years of experience in business analysis in a related field

 

Preferred Requirements

·         Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS or related field

·         Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA).

·         3+ years of work experience in a business role requiring interaction with executive leadership.

·         3+ years of work experience working on cross-functional project teams.
