Position: SAP PI Consultant

Location: Perrysburg, OH

Duration: 6+ Month/ Contract

Interview: Phone and Skype

1.     Installation of IS - Retail ECC, Process Integration, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Portal and Solution Manager in Distributed and High-availability/RAC environment

2.     Post installation configurations for PI (template installer), BI, Portal and ECC

3.     Exposure to Database and driver connection/Adaptor attributes

 

Overview:

Provide applications development and enhancement functions, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and object transports using SAP's ABAP Development Workbench.  Work with SAP functional analysts and Operations business analysts to formalize specifications for custom development.  Design and implement technical solutions for conversions, interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms and work-flows using call transactions, user ex

its, bolt-ons, standard data transfer, dialog programming, SAP Script, etc.

Responsibilities:

·         Installation of IS - Retail ECC, Process Integration, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Portal and Solution Manager in Distributed and High-availability/RAC environment

·         Post installation configurations for PI (template installer), BI, Portal and ECC

·         Exposure to Database and driver connection/Adaptor attributes

·         SAP JVM upgrade using switch tool for PI and EP

·         PO 7.4 Installation

·         Exposure to PI 7.1 or Higher Version

·         PI Archiving configuration and Reorg for Space releasing

·         PI Alert configuration and Queue monitoring

·         SAP Netweaver Enterprise Portal, Java and ABAP Systems Administration, including systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

·         Configuration, security and management of Enterprise Portal

·         Support the application teams in troubleshooting of problems in SAP Java development and production systems

·         Support SAP XI messaging infrastructure

·         CTS + configuration for PI and EP transports

·         Sizing and Designing and Auditing landscape High-Availability and distributed Architecture.

·         System copy

Requirements:

·         Individual must be a hands on resource with strong skills in SAP ABAP/PI development. Knowledge in SAP PI version 7.4/7.5 capabilities and configuration, working knowledge of REST adapter. Experience in connecting PI to both SAP and multiple NON-SAP systems. An understanding of JAVA is required.

·         Needs an understanding of the overall SAP enterprise system landscape, as well as the capabilities of PI in conjunction with non-SAP systems.
