Note: MACDs is in reference to changes customers want to make to their Comcast accounts and/or services. They can also pay their bills, so someone who has worked that type of app. 

 

Summary:

• Must be very very strong Ruby/Rails
• Some Java wold be nice
• Customer facing website experience (front-end)
• Able to enforce standards across team
• HTML, Javascript is nice to have
• Will be working on 'my.xfinity.com' site which is used for MACDs for users/customers
• In-person interview is preferred but will do Skype if necessary
• Team works on 3 week Agile cycle, so exp with Agile is must
• Team also does peer reviews of code
• Dev/Ops exp is helpfulHas knowledge to self diagnose, but not expected to be expert on servers, dbs, etc
• Understand what it takes to deploy an application
• Interview process will be intense and highly technical. They will be tested/screened by in-house engineers
