Position: WebSphere Portal (IBM Digital) Developer

Location: Columbus OH

Duration: 12+ Month/ Contract

Interview: Phone and In Person/Skype

We are currently in the process of choosing a Portal Platform, it will be either IBM Digital Experience (formerly WebSphere Portal) or Oracle WebCenterPortal. State will be selecting one of these Suites to be the Enterprise Standard Platform and Solution

This Resource will act as the Lead Developer Subject Matter Expert, and a Solution Architect for the State Enterprise Portal Platform. Additionally, this resource will act Portal SME for business, developers, and System Integrators. State primarily uses System Integrators for project delivery

• Develop and assist in the creation of Portal content, integrations, components, themes and skins
• Maintain components and standards to support responsive design and solutions
• Support of the Portal infrastructure and help manage support provided by managed service provider.
• Developing portlet applications, applications, and front ends that integrate with API, SOA, and BPM services
• Work with System Integrators, business analyst and stakeholders
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, business users and external systems integrators in conceptualization and development of new technical objects to support State system integrations such as IDM, ERP, Public and Public Cloud, Enterprise and Agency Applications.
• Evaluate requirements from functional specifications and create/advise on solution design.
• Analyze, evaluate and support impact of Oracle release upgrades in existing integrations.
• Adhere to and support the use of standards for code development and code promotion.
• Analyzing user requirements, prototyping processes, and designing process solutions.
• Design and development of web services.

Mandatory Requirement Skills

• 5 plus years of experience being progressively responsible for building Portal content such as Java applications and system integrations
• 1 plus years of hands on experience with Oracle ADF or Jbuilder type tools
• 5 plus years of J2EE and JavaScript
• 1 plus years of IBM Web Experience Factory or Oracle ADF
• 1 plus years developing JSR 168/286 Portlets/WSRP, J2EE Web 
• Services/Serverlets. JavaScript development such as Node.js or front end libraries for presentation layer.
• At least 1 project completed utilizing Personalization, which allows automated generation of various versions of an application for different users
• 1 plus years of experience with Performance Tuning and utilization of various resource analyzers
• 1 plus years of experience and hands on with Consumption of API, SOAP/Web Services/WS-I, SOA, & (ESB) Enterprise Service Bus
• 5 Plus years of SQL, JavaScript and AJAX development
• 5 Plus Years of experience with Hibernate, Struts, Spring
• 1 Plus Year of Web Application Security and single sign on technologies
• 2 Plus years of experience creating automated build/deployment/maintenance of scripts.
• 2 plus years of experience in UNIX Shell, JACL, Perl Scripting Application extensions and middleware experience.
• 1 plus years of Integration experience with any Enterprise Service Bus
• 1 plus years of experience with web application testing tools.
• 1 year of experience with building, configuring and deploying services on containers such as WebLogic/WebSphere application servers.
• 1 plus years of experience administering and configuring tools like Hudson, Ant, and GIT.
