Position: SQL Server DBA

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: 6+ Month/ Contract to Hire

Interview: Phone and Skype

Must be USC or GC

-          Provide Linked-in ID***

-          Any level – DBA, SR DBA, Principal DBA

-          What I'm looking for in a candidate:

o   Serious candidate who hasn't moved around every 6 months in the past

o   Smart and hungry

§  Must have potential to be a team lead (I can groom them over 2-3 years)

o   Excellent communication

§  must be easy to understand even on the phone

§  must express ideas in an organised clear fashion (IE doesn't ramble on all over the place)

o   Self starter (finds work by themselves, realizes what needs to be done and prioritizes it)

Responsible

§  Full-time employee attitude (ownership, root causes analysis, eliminate recurring problems)

Education

§  IT related degree (not philosophy business, or history major – need strong math skills)

Experience: 

o   8 years minimum as a DBA
