HP QC/ALM Admin

Allendale, NJ

Relevant Exp. Required: 7-10 years

Need a resource having good communication skills with strong HP QC/ALM technical skills. Here are some required skills:

• In Depth knowledge of HP QC/ALM Administration:
• Knowledge of ALM Architecture and DB schema
• Knowledge of ALM Customizations, Workflows, Business Workflows
• Knowledge of ALM Templates
• Knowledge of VBScript, OTA and REST APIs
• Working knowledge of ALM Reports using Custom and Out of Box reports
• Hands on experience in creating SQL based reports.
• ALM Troubleshooting Skills are required.
• ALM Integrations:

Strong understanding of ALM integrations with 3^rd party systems like VersionOne, ClearQuest, MS TFS, Perforce, etc.

• Experience in setting up HP ALM integrations to synchronize Requirements, Tests, Results and Defects from 3^rd party systems.
• Hands on experience on converting Business Requirements to Integration Statements
• Creation of Field & Process Mapping documents.
• Experience in designing and writing workflows to support Business Processes.
• Hands on experience in VersionOne ALM Connect, HP ALM Synchronize.
• Knowledge of HP ALI and SAP SOLMAN (desired skill).

 

Apart from that the candidate should possess the following qualities.

            Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.

            Good communication skills and willing to work with different team across the organization.

            Understanding the User Requirements and convert to System Req and Design Statements.

            Experience in QC Workflow customizations and Business Workflows

            Interact with customer to understand the business issues/requirements.

            Provide effort estimates and prioritize tasks.

            Assess risk and impact on the existing system that may arise due to any requirement or functional change.

            Create and deliver Validation Documentation.

Must have Technical skills:

            HP Quality Center/ALM Administration

            QC Customization, Workflow & Templates

            Business Workflows

            OTA (Open Test Architecture) API

            HP ALM REST APIs

            VBScript

            SQL

 

Preferred skills:

            SAP SOLMAN and HP ALI
