Skills Needed:

-          Participate in Joint Application Development session to assist in the formulation of Use Case analysis deliverables.

-          Interpret Use Case requirements, seek clarification from Business Analysts as needed and estimate, propose, prototype and develop a solution that integrates within the existing ASSETS technology stack and framework.

-          Provide J2EE, JBoss Enterprise Application Server, SOA web services, Red Hat Apache web server, Linux, Oracle 11g, Unisys Mainframe Transaction Management (DTPRA) application development expertise.

-          Provide work breakdown structures to articulate tasks, level of effort and dependencies between tasks and report progress.

-          Provide troubleshooting and end-user support/problem resolution when necessary.

-          Provide technical documentation, solution prototypes, conduct demonstrations of work in progress and completed work to business subject matter experts and other technical staff as requested/required.

-          Assist in configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting of Red Hat Apache web and JBoss application server settings

-          Mentor other contract and State application development staff

 

Skills Needed

-          84 months experience developing Java application software solutions in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

-          6 or more months experience developing Java applications using Unisys mainframe DTPRA connectors.

-          60 or more months experience in EJB development and transaction management programming in a complex, large-scale environment involving the integration of J2EE applications with legacy mainframe environments.

-          24 or more months experience working with/developing Java solutions with a Web security protocol (preferably using LDAP and Netegrity SiteMinder) context.

-          36 or more months experience with demonstrated proficiency in the proper application of standard design patterns (J2EE, GoF) to solve complex business problems. 

-          48 or more months experience with use of XML, JAXB and web services in a J2EE environment. 

-          36 or more months experience working with developing Java J2EE transaction applications against Oracle databases.

-          36 or more moths experience with the use of Hibernate. 

-          60 or more month’s experience analyzing business processes and workflows, and working with non-technical staff to develop system specifications and resolve problems.

-          36 or more months experience in assisting in the configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting of WebLogic, JBoss and RedHat Apache servers.
