Job Location       :   Lewisville, TX

Description :

 

  QA Analyst Roles and Responsibilities

General:

 5 years of experience as a QA analyst creating and executing test plans and test cases for large applications in an SDLC environment

 The QA Analyst will be based on-site at Client's office in Lewisville, TX with optional periodic travel to Client sites as needed at their discretion.

 ALM and/or Quality Center

 IVRs and/or Financial Services applications

 Office products, esp. Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio

 SQL/databases

 Strong communication skills, bi-lingual a plus

 Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Test new software to ensure it meets functional requirements.

 Develop test plans, write test cases for tracing defects and fixes in new or updated IVR applications through the development life cycle.

 Report defects, bugs, errors, and configuration issues.

 Database mining for test data.

 Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project team members.

 Communicate with all levels of personnel, both verbally and in writing.

 Read, comprehend, interpret, and analyze project artifacts.

 Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and teammates.

 Determine when project issues require escalation.

 Work both independently and in a team setting.

 Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 Logical, efficient, detail-oriented, self-directed.

 Occasional long and/or irregular hours may be required.

 Physical requirements include: sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
