Title: .Net Tech Lead

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Duration: 3 months +

 

Summary

The Technical Lead is accountable for leading and delivering all technical components of the project: enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, development, infrastructure and operations.  The Technical Lead is accountable and responsible for the technical approach, strategy and plan to implement and the successful delivery of the technical aspects of the project. 

 

Specific responsibilities

·                     Accountable for the successful delivery of all technical components of the project.

·                     Provides overall technical leadership to the cross-functional team – coordinating the technical resources through the delivery of all technical project deliverables.

·                     Ensures the quality of the technical deliverables.

·                     Active participant in IT Leadership, Project Steering Committee and Executive Board Meetings–

·                     Responsible for Work breakdown structure and accountable for those of subordinate leads if any.

·                     Responsible for defining and estimating the technical project tasks and resource assignments; creating the technical sub-project schedule; updating progress against tasks and deliverables; ensuring timely completion.

·                     Participates in scope management and change control.

·                     Communicates to the technical project team, the Core Project Team, IT Solutions Services and IT Operations Management, IT Leadership, Steering Committee, Executive Board and key stakeholders.

·                     Contributes to issue and risk management and escalation

·                     Active participation in Phase Gate Reviews

The technical lead should have the ability to perform all of the developer tasks on the project being led but is not expected to do day to day development activities.

 

Required skills

·                     10+ years overall experience with 5+ years in a supervisory role driving application development efforts

·                     Excellent communication and presentation skills 

·                     Full stack .NET, C#.NET, MVC, ASP.NET (8 years)

·                     Mobile development experience is must (2 years)

·                     Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint

·                     Ability to meet tight deliverables in a fast paced environment

·                     OT and weekend work likely required through Q1

 

Desired skills (nice to have)

·                     Bootstrap, Angular.js, Node.js, WCF, WPF, Unity container, Responsive web design, Telerik App Builder
