Title:            Middle ware Developer
Location:     Richmond VA
Duration:     6+ months contract to hire
 
Job Description and Duties:
Seasoned Developer (5-10+ years of experience) with JavaScript background; working towards utilizing Node.js and Angular.js; this is a customer-facing application (card agent servicing application that the agents use when customers call).

 

HOWEVER, this team owns the Restful service layer/framework.

 

Strong communication skills necessary given product owner interface and team interface with both business people and developers will be necessary; minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent certification or military experience.

 

Qualifications in order of priority:
JavaScript expertise, JavaScript Testing Framework experience,  Restful web service experience.
Highly Desired Experience with NodeJS Highly Desired Experience with Typscript Highly Desired
Experience with Angular 2 Highly Desired Experience with Docker, Jenkins
Highly Desired development and deployment tools (such as Consul, Nginx, NPM, Docker, Maven, Ansible)
Experience with Cloud Computing/technologies (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Chef, Terraform, etc.)
Nice to have: Experience with TDD/ATDD Experience with Agile and Agile Craftsmanship practices including Scrum Experience with SAFe Experience with Kanban Experience with Paired Programming and Emergent Design Knowledge of Domain Driven Design Other Information
