Provide leadership for software application and module design and coding to software development teams developing complex software and services using Big Data platforms.Provide leadership, Manage and deliver the necessary solutions, software modules and code for assigned projects.Assist in driving defect and root cause analysis for software defects and interfaces.Improves Big Data solutions by tracking emerging technologies
Architect solutions in AWS based cloud based deployments of big data platforms
Key Technical Skill
• Must have a minimum 3 years of solid experience in Java and Big Data technologies such as Spark, Scala, Hive, Maven/SBT, Map/Reduce, Amazon S3
• Highly Desirable - Experience in REST/services and Big Data technologies such as Oozie, Sqoop, Kafka, Hadoop Amazon EMR distribution, Python, PIG, Redshift, HBase
• Big Plus - Experience in Apache Phoenix, Text Search (Solr, ElasticSearch, CloudSearch), AWS databases (Redshift, Dynamo, EMR), Impala, VoltDB, MemSQL
