MS Office 365 Architect
Location: Lansing, MI
Duration: 3+ month/ Contract
Interview mode: 1 Telephone OR Skype interview
Must be USC or GC
This will start right at the first of the year. There are opportunities for other work beyond this project. Must work on-site.
There are over 9K e-mail users and multiple databases. 2 weeks into the project the client will decide if they want a Hybrid solution or a full cloud solution.
Seeking a candidate with strong, proven, hands-on architectural design, development, migration, and management experience with O365 – Exchange (email), Active Directory services, Skype for business
Qualifications
• In depth understanding of the capabilities of MS Office 365
• Expertise MUST include architectural design, development, migration, management and supporting O365 implementations.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory services including forest and domain design, policies, trusts, replication and topology.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) design, topology, and integration with various products.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Exchange services, design and topology.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office 365 (including hybrid) services, design, topology, and migration from
• Hand-on experience MUST include Exchange (email, calendar, notes, address book) to O365, Notes (email, calendar, notes, address book) to O365 migration
• Proven experience with Integration of these technologies with various security capabilities including mail gateways, multi-factor authentication, encryption, and e-discovery.
• Proven experience with Integration of these technologies with various network capabilities including WAN acceleration, Proxies, and load balancers.
• Proven experience with Design and development of migration strategies and Service Management services for all technical solution components relevant to this role.
• Proven experience with planning and standing up servers with 2008/2012 operating system and then installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft-centric applications that supports the Office 365 environment.
• Experience with and understanding of Office 365 Azure and its use with an Office 365 environment.
• Proven experience with standing up and Office 365 tenant and primary customer domain and if needed, any needed sub-domain configurations.
• Proven experience with creating and troubleshooting mail transport rules.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Lync/Skype of Business (including voice) services, design and topology.
• Proven experience with Cisco Unified Communications services, design and topology.
• Proven experience with Design of solutions to integrate and support of telephony systems, both PABX and VOIP (and hybrids).
• Proven experience with Integration of these technologies with telephony, video, presence, and messaging systems.
• Microsoft SharePoint services, design and topology. ----not critical to have this piece
• Strong communication skills and can work w/o guidance or oversight
