Job Description:
Gathering, organizing, documenting maintaining site requirements from many internal business areas
Information Architecture, including building enterprise/Department metadata taxonomies and business data schemas
Has worn many SharePoint hats or had experience that spans: Designer, Administrator, Trainer, Power User
Responsible for the non-programming customizations
Expert in SharePoint out of the box features
Support the training questions of business customers in sites, lists, libraries, search and office integration
Guides others through difficulties by mentoring and fielding business site owner questions
Designing and building (hands on creation) of sites (i.e. Business Site Owner role). Requires extensive hands on site building AND on-going maintenance, preferably as a business employee (rather than IT).
Experience with Web Content Management Systems
OpenText web content management platform experience preferred but not required
Gathering and organizing business requirements for web-based intranet and knowledgebase business needs
Understanding of web content management platforms
