Description:
Scope, estimate, design, configure, analyze, maintain, troubleshoot, and test technical and non-technical solutions required to satisfy clients' needs.
· Perform development tasks which will involve extraction and transfer of data, performing all associated transformations, validations, cleansing, and preparation of data for load into the applicable system(s).
· Work on elements of large, complex installations.
· Develop and implement process improvements, be a resource and advocate for the business partners and will work closely with the system administrators and database administrators to perform space planning, monitoring, security, performance tuning, archiving, and upgrade support.
· Work closely with user and management to maintain and continually improve the operations, maintenance, and documentation of the systems.
· Make recommendations to users and management regarding system expansions, alternative approaches, enhancements and operational improvements.
Job Minimum Requirements:
· 5 years' experience in a Java development role
· 3 years' experience with WebSphere Portal
· 3 years' experience in a technical role supporting and/or designing application technologies
· 2 years' experience in distributed client server environments, relational database technology, and the development or configuration of interface software
