Java Architect - Contract Position

I'm currently working as Contract Java Architect for a company that prefers candidates with experience in the Capital Market, Banking, or Financial industries. It's a hybrid position, meaning the consultant may work from any of the places listed. Cities like Charlotte, North Carolina, San Francisco, California, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Des Moines, Iowa, St. Louis, Missouri, New York, New York, Salt Lake City, Utah, Raleigh, North Carolina, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Chicago, Illinois, Boston, Massachusetts, Dallas, Texas, Atlanta, North Carolina, and Raleigh, North Carolina are included. In case client need him or her, the consultant ought to be able to show up to the office.

 

Job qualifications include:

·       The consultant must have 10 years of experience creating business IT solutions; Strong understanding of Enterprise Design Patterns, DDD, and RESTFul Architecture, as well as at least 10 years of software development experience utilising OOP, Java,.NET, and C++, including 7 years in Agile software development teams and 7 years as an application architect or systems architect; Influence at all organisational levels, particularly senior management, and ability to analyse and present complex technical material to technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal abilities. have a BS/BA degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar profession.

·       The role requires five years of expertise architecting microservices, APIs, API Gateways, integration patterns, middleware technologies, and messaging technologies, as well as five years in the capital market/financial services business. You must also evaluate vendors and speak and write to top executives. Creating and discussing solutions with partners or customers, including escalations, Teamwork skills Multitasking, prioritising, and organising skills.
