Oracle Database Developer

Required:

• SQL – 5yrs+ exp – this is support data requests, application developers, moving data in time keeping database. (Journyx)
• Moving data from external feeds to secure database model. Securing database fields in current database.
• Oracle PL/SQL – 5yrs+ exp – this is to support database development of packages, procedures, functions, triggers, etc.
• Including the following, but not limited to:
• Cursors
• Records / Collections (arrays)
• Bulk operations
• Dynamic SQL
• Object Types  
• Oracle Data Pump – 3yrs+ exp. – this is to support database refreshes like reportdb and refresh from production to qa databases.
• Oracle Performance Tuning – 3yrs+ exp – this is to support many open fb cases about application code that is using bad queries and knowledge of explain plans and indexes.

 

Optional (highly recommended):

• Oracle Materialized Views – 1 yr exp – this is to support data syncing between psydb and tdd.
• Oracle Pro*C – 1 yr exp. – this is to support reviewing pubdbupd pro*c code to figure out what the app is doing.
• Oracle RMAN -- 1yr exp. – this is to support very basic issues of backup and restores issues that might come up (highly optional).
• Oracle Security – 1yr exp – this is to support understanding of user connecting to databases and help out when issues arise when apps connect to the db.

 

Optional (recommended):

ASP.Net -- < 1 yr exp – basically they need to understand how to read web page code as this is very helpful in problem solving issues"
