Java Developer

 

Job Duties  

                  

Development of key business applications, new enhancements via large project work and development in support of monthly maintenance releases. These applications require some level of proficiency in both server side and client side development. Participate as part of an extended team in the efforts to migrate to an evolving framework that future applications will be built upon.

 

Required Skills:

 

·         At least 5 to 7 years of experience developing and supporting native applications

·         Strong computer science background

·         Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP), specifically Java. 

·         Working knowledge and proven experience/proficiency working with and developing applications using HTML, CSS, JSP, JSTL, jQuery, JavaScript & several jQuery plugins and client side technologies 

·         Knowledge of HTML5, Backbone.js, Node.js and MVC Frameworks a plus

·         Skilled at developing complex end-user web applications

·         Strong organization and communication skills (verbal/written)

·         Ability to work effectively in a multi-location team environment
