1. Software Engineer(QA)
1st telephonic, then face to face
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for an Software Engineer, End to End Testing and a strong technical background, experienced working with Ruby/Rails or other scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby etc.), and API testing is preferred but not required. You will define test strategy, execute test plans, review product specifications, and define appropriate test tools and strategy, communicate with multiple teams, identify system dependencies, and ensure the right information is passed between various system components. A successful candidate will have a strong track record of evaluating test coverage, and providing high-quality feedback on the state of the product
Top Skill Sets: Python, Perl, Ruby and API
Responsibilities:
• Creating test plans and maintaining integration test results.
• Partnering with software development, Business Analysts and the QA teams to
• identify the components of the system to be integrated based on both business priority and benefit of automated testing.
• Identify information that should be passed between components and systems.
• Assisting in building QA end to end environment.
• Assisting in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting methods are effective, efficient, standardized, coordinated, and integrated.
• Assisting in designing test strategies, developing test tools and implementing test cases to ensure highest quality deliverables.
• working closely with Engineering to understand the Product Architecture and identifying, designing, or enhancing existing test frameworks.
• Defect tracking and issue status reporting.
• Able to multi-task, triage issues, react well to changes, work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must.
Minimum skills:
• 3+ years hands-on software quality assurance testing experience, preferably
• with web applications in the software development industry.
• objects and entities independent of any available user interface.
• 2+ years experience with back-end & front-end testing.
• Thorough understanding of QA methodology and best practices.
• Analyze defects / test results and be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failure.
• Strong knowledge of Unix shell commands, SQL and database concepts.
• Great communication with both the Ad Serving team and QA management is essential.
• Ability to work in energetic, yet fun environment.
Preferred skills:
• Experience with Unix scripting languages.
• Knowledge of and ability to rapidly learn third party development/QA tools.
Education:
Bachelor¹s Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
2. Appian Lead position
JD:
1. Should have worked on one or more Appian BPM implementation
2. Should have experience working in two or more BPM projects.
3. Should have interacted with Business to understand business requirement and prototypes it to conceptual model with screen flows. Ability to demonstrate the working concept and solicit feedback
4. Hand's on experience on tool and is able to develop and design Appian process flows
5. Experience on Appian reporting function and understanding of Appian Plugin, Tempo would be required
6. Experience in integrating Appian BPM process flows with external systems (via Webservices) – Required
7. Ability to convert the Process requirements to Prototypes and screen flows for demonstration to business
8. Ability to device solution and document them as part of design
9. Experience in estimation, coordination with offshore teams and delegating work
10. Ability to resolve technical issues faced by the team members.
11. Appian BPM Certification would be preferred and would be one of the additional criteria that would weigh in selection.
3. Sr.Data Warehouse Architect / Modeler
Candidates would need to be available for a face to face interview (No Skype), contract is for 6 months but they will definitely extend past that.
Mandatory Skills :Kimball, Erwin, and SQL experience.
JD :
The Senior Data Warehouse Architect / Modeler will work to manage data from multiple sources and gather it in a way so it can be used functionally.
FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES
• Extensive database modeling, design, development, and maintenance experience (including developing dimensional databases and data cubes, schema design and development)
• Ability to design unit and system test plans, and execute testing
• Excellent communicator both verbally and written with coordination and facilitation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and complete in a timely manner multiple assignments.
TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCES
• 7+ years in database development experience including SQL Server 2008/2012
• Experience developing SSIS ETL packages supporting database to database activities
• Proven experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Skilled in both Data Warehouse and Transactional databases
• Extensive Stored Procedure development
• Strong T-SQL programming skills
• Strong ERWIN
• Extensive experience in Kimball methodologies
