Position: Java Developer  (Only Local)

Location: Waltham, MA

Duration: Long Term Contract

 

·         Strong interest in creating rich Internet application (RIA) with a user-centered design philosophy

·         3 to 8 years of experience developing backend applications

·         Java proficiency

·         The candidate should be familiar with server side development including:

·         MVC framework such as Spring or STRUTS and JSP/JSTL

·         Java EE applications server such as Weblogic

·         Design patterns

·         HTML, JavaScript/JQuery and basic CSS

·         Database access and SQL

·         Exposing/Consuming web services (SOAP, REST,...)

·         Knowledge of an RIA framework such as Google Web Toolkit (preferred), ExtJS, would be a plus

·         Knowledge of travel industry and related technologies would be a plus

·         Good written and oral communication skills

 

Education: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
