Position: Hadoop Administrator / Hadoop DevOps

Job Description:-
As a Hadoop Administrator, the candidate will work with a variety of talented teammates and be a driving force for ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and availability of Hadoop platforms.
Work closely with infrastructure, network, database and business intelligence to insure business applications are highly available and performing within agreed upon service levels.
Responsibilities include;
• Implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop infrastructure
• Modifying and maintaining existing applications on Hadoop
• New developments on Hadoop using Map Reduce programming, HDFS, Oozie, Hive, PIG, Sqoop, Java and shell scripts.
• Building or improving monitoring frameworks and extend tools to enable self-service of Hadoop
• Manage and review Hadoop log files
• Cluster maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes.
• Design, implement and maintain security
• Data capacity and node forecasting and planning
• Closely working with the infrastructure, network, database, application, and business intelligence
• Installing operating system and Hadoop updates, patches, version upgrades
• Experience in application development using the technologies Java/J2EE, RDBMS, Linux/Unix.
• Sharing knowledge with your teammates as well as the larger tech community
