Job Description

Preferred/Add on Advisory Experience: ECM/CCM Consulting and business analysis

Preferred Product Experience or knowledge: Open Text, IBM FileNet, Oracle WCC, EMC Documentum and other products as applicable.

Desired Competencies

Advanced knowledge of vocabulary development advisory techniques and areas such as information architecture, metadata modeling, taxonomy development.
Rich knowledge of ECM technologies/Products and ECM concepts like document lifecycle, records/compliance management.
Quickly understands client's content centric business issues and challenges of client's organization and industry.
Conducting information architecture assessment through workshops, walkthroughs and data extraction scripts
Practical experience in defining content gaps (Terms, Metadata) across different applications
Led streamlining of controlled vocabularies and creation of streamlined To-Be taxonomy structure for future use
Previous experience in product evaluation of Taxonomy and Auto-categorization tools
Expert in defining content governance, content lifecycle Frameworks
Ability to visualize and document To Be Landscape at -

Macro Level: In terms of People, Process, Content and Technology

Micro level: Functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.

· Ability to derive and refine synoym rings, controlled vocabularies

· Ability to create To-Be Metadata framework , dictionary and governance frameworks

· Ability to lead taxonomy definition with due tracking and domain specific organization of content facets.

Must be well versed in creation of analytical frameworks and ancillary collaterals.
Ability to shoulder/manage project specific administrative tasks.
Ancillary skills –Excellent communication skills etc.
