Role: Data Architect
Location: Madison, NJ
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long Term
Primary responsibilities:
· You will assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
· You will be involved in solving complex problems and/or conduct complex analysis
· You will provide explanation and information to others on difficult issues
· You will coach, provide feedback and guide others
· You will maintain knowledge of current domains and strategic roadmaps
· You will identify/quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems
· You will incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs
· You will lead modeling efforts (e.g., data modeling, process modeling, hardware modeling, and performance modeling)
· You will lead oversight of conceptual designs to ensure alignment with data architecture governance (e.g., principles, policies, standards, future-state reference architectures)
· You will maintain awareness of current technology assets, and the applicability and capability of each
· You will be responsible for leading awareness of current business and industry issues/trends and incorporate into enterprise architecture designs as appropriate
Required Qualifications:
· Undergraduate degree or a minimum of 10 years of IT experience
· 8+ years of Information Technology Architecture Analysis experience
· 5+ years of development experience including full life cycle activities
· Experience with Agile methodology
· Solid understanding of industry patterns for application architecture and integration
· 7+ years of experience building data architectures using
· Experience with building design workflow diagrams around 3 tier architectures
