Systems Services Support Analyst with UNIX

Major Requirements:
Unix 3-5 years of experience
WebSphere – 3-5 years of experience
Production Support or Application Support
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide operational support the FCPS business critical applications and collaborate across business units on technical solutions and processes
• Maintain stable and reliable application environments
• Provide rotational 24/7 on-call application support
• Manage and coordinate software/hardware currency
• Work on support initiatives to provide on-going increased operational efficiency
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years production support experience or similar
• Security industry experience preferred
• Strong understanding of ITIL concepts
• Solid knowledge of hardware and software systems
• Project management and project life cycle knowledge
• Solid verbal and written communications skills
Skills and Knowledge
• 3-5 years of UNIX experience
• 3-5 years of WebSphere experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience providing crisis management for major system outages or issues with major business impact
• Experience navigating system logs, updating configuration files and maintaining monitoring standards
• Ability to work closely with application developers as well as Fidelity internal customers at all levels
• Ability to use and maintain support tools in UNIX and Windows as necessary
• Experience conducting application implementations
