Position: JD Edward Consultant
Duration:6 month Contract
Location: St Louis MO
The Master Data Consultant will serve as a team member for Post Holdings and the various ERP and Financial systems to which it will connect. This person should understand the business needs surrounding Master Data elements that are commonly shared between manufacturing companies and will become acquainted with the particular requirements of the individual companies that make up Post Holdings. He/she understands the requirements for Architecture and Implementation of JDE. Communicates and coordinates with other IT users, business representatives of Post companies, and IT leadership to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across Post.
Primary contribution will be to support the JDE 9.1 system implementation across PHI locations
- Collect, analyze, review and document individual company requirements for master data, including the shared components across multiple companies.
- Work with the designed architecture that will drive the migration from various ERP systems to the JDE 9.1 platform.
- Work with the separate businesses to determine a method for consolidation of duplicate data points (vendors, customers, etc.) so that a single record contains all the information any company requires.
- Contribute to the overall planning and execution of projects and issue resolution including the development of approaches, identifying resources, and developing time lines.

- Ability to complete documentation of test scenarios, results and issue resolution is required

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and work in related area required.
- Must possess an understanding of the business function(s)/process(s) supported of a manufacturing company. This is key for the ability to interpret data for conversion projects.
- Highly proficient in Excel (ie, VLOOKUP experience)
- Working knowledge of SQL queries
- 4 - 6 years experience in business area and 2 - 4 years supporting business applications within IT organization required.
- Excellent knowledge of systems project work and business functionality in ERP applications required.
- Knowledge of business processes for Master Data Management; including data entry for address book records
- Experience utilizing JDE is required.
- Prior ERP project implementation experience is desired
- Experience in the Consumer Goods/Manufacturing Industry is a plus
- Experience using MS Office
