Technical/Functional Skills :
· Strong Analytical Skills including knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), having thorough understanding of various phases like Gap/Discovery Analysis, Requirements Elicitation, Design, Development, System Testing and Production Support.
· Experience in designing business models using UML Diagrams such as Use Case Model, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Collaboration Diagrams in Rational Rose and MS Visio.
· Experience in developing and reviewing Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Testing Plan Management Documents.
· Experience in creating Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flow Diagrams, Flowcharts and Screen mockups / Wireframes.
· Expertise in Data Architecture, Data Strategy and Roadmap for large and complex organization and systems and implemented large scale end-to-end Data Management & Analytics solutions for more than one large client
· Expertise with normalized OLTP, MDM and DW Dimensional modeling techniques, Star & Snowflake schemas, modeling slowly changing dimensions and role playing dimensions, dimensional hierarchies, and data classification
· Hands-on experience with ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tools (e.g. Informatica, Talend, Pentaho)
· Drive delivery in a matrixed environment working with various internal IT partners
· Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring simultaneously
· Must be able to work independently and have skills in planning, strategy, estimation and scheduling
· Strong problem solving, influencing, communication, and presentation skills, self-starter
Experience Required:
· Solution oriented Business Systems Analyst with 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Software Validation and Business Process Re-Engineering with proven ability to articulate business values.
· Experience involving Business Process Re-Engineering, Software Re-Engineering using Agile/Scrum, Waterfall methodologies and Continuous Improvement techniques.
· Successful and Progressive record of hands-on experience in Managing, Evaluating and Defining Requirements.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Gather business requirements through interviews, discussions, brainstorming and Prototyping.
· Perform GAP analysis to compare the existing system with the proposed system and documented new requirements and features.
· Develop functional and non-functional requirements from business requirements document
· Must have excellent proficiency in MS excel, MS access, MS Visio, MS access
· Must be able to lead a team and take decisions
· Must understand the impacts of workflow and be able to guide business in the right direction
DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED:
· Oracle XML types (xpath, xquery, xsd)
· LOB management
· Data migration – imports / exports
· Software Architecture background
· Data warehousing concepts
