Title:  ETL/Pentaho/Kettle

Location: San Jose GOVO

Duration 12 months

 

Job Description:

• Contractor will develop: new feature enhancements, refactor legacy ETL code and fix bugs for Data Warehouse and Reporting. This includes all the Finance, Payroll, Drexel, Marketing, Legal and other groups with which the team partners with.
• Contractor will own tasks through the entire software development life cycle from concept to release to production including: gathering business requirements, documenting development approach, implementing code changes, testing, gathering approvals and migrating code.
• Contractor will develop code changes based on functional requirements defined via business requirement documents (BRDs), functional Specification design documents (FSDs),Technical Design Documents (TDDs) written descriptions in bugs and verbally.
• Contractor will work on all kinds of access requests (Tables and Reports) which the Finance Data Warehouse owns now and in future.
• Contractor will work with business analysts, software engineers and business systems integrators to determine functional & technical requirements.
• Contractor will provide on call support for production and non-production systems when scheduled.
