 Job Title : Business System Analyst with DW and Teradata SQL

Job Location : San jose,CA

Duration Long Term CTH/Full Time 

The ideal candidate would work in Data Management (DM) organization which partners with the business unit globally to derive value from the information available in their organizations

* The Business Systems Analyst will focus on the delivery of data & analytics in a Data Warehouse environment.

* Identify business needs and define solutions including data components, relationships, and configurations. * Establish system specifications and objectives, based on business requirements and cost effectiveness, and provides recommendations to management personnel.

* Acts as liaison between systems software development staff, management, and system end-users to determine requirements and obtain sign-off.

* Ability to translate business requirements to technical specification for engineering teams.

* Knowledge of sql. Writing SQL queries to fetch data from database .Teradata preferred but not mandatory

* Need to coordinate with  offshore teams on a need basis

* Define, design and develop report and documentation that meet business user needs while meeting defined milestone and deliverables.

* Lead data management & analytics projects by translating business problems and questions into structured analysis.

* Coordinates and leads information management solutions and project plans.

* Manages all aspects of project such as data sourcing, migration, quality, design, and implementation.

* Work with cross functional business groups, business analyst and engineers from various global teams.

* Participate in architecture and design discussion. Coordinate with other functional teams on larger and more complex projects.
