Position: Quality Engineer (QE)
Location: Omaha, NE
Type: Contract
Job Description :
- Experience of minimum 5 + years experience
- Worked as Quality Engineer for 2 large projects - on shore test teams.
- Must have applied experience with Shell, and Perl Scripting in a Unix / Linux environment
- Must have working knowledge of Quality Center 9.0 or higher
- Good understanding on test strategies
- Experience identifying/formulating test cases.
- Experience on automation test execution activities
- Experience in managing and maintaining test cases and defect data in Quality Center
- Experience with software configuration management/revision control systems (SVN)
- Exposure on test plans and understands the defect life cycle.
- Run regressions, Debug regressions failures, file bugs early in release
- Experience in conducting Fail over testing for large systems.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases for non-functional requirements.
- Hands on C/C++ is a plus to write utilities for White box testing
