Title: Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: 9+ months
Description:
· Very good knowledge of Windows 2003-2012 Server operating systems
· Very good knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.x and 6.x operating systems
· Very experienced in standard protocols like SFTP, FTP, SMTP Proxying, HTTP(S) proxying, CIFS, NFS and Quota Management in both worlds
· Experienced in virtualization technologies based on VMware vSphere 4.x and 5.x
· Experienced in load balancing and related protocols
· Experienced in LAN and WAN networks and understanding of firewall concepts and settings
· Experienced to work in an international enterprise environment with several datacenters
· Knowledge of basic ITIL processes like Incident, Problem and Change Management as well as Capacity Planning
· Some experience on monitoring, alerting and automated inventory
· Good communication skills for technical negotiations with other IT departments
· Basic project management skills
