Hi everyone,
As many of you may already know, the execution for Marshall Gore is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1st 6pm at the prison in Strake, FL. With help from the national Amnesty International Death Penalty Abolition Campaign and the new Amnesty International Florida Death Penalty Abolition Campaign, we are planning a trip to the prison to participate in the vigil. The prison is approximately 2.5 hours away from Orlando. We would leave Orlando between 130pm - 230pm (depending on pickup location(s)) and return around 1000pm. A bus will be rented to accommodate as many as 55 people!! If you are available and interested in joining us, please let me know as soon as possible. Please note that the trip is being funding by the campaign, however, donations will be accepted. Also, if you support the cause but cannot make the trip, please consider making a donation by visiting our local Amnesty website, www.AmnestyOrlando.org. Additional information will be available for those who confirm.
