Senior Project Manager

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Manages the execution of projects within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while minimizing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies
- Facilitate detailed planning sessions with key business leaders
- Capture detailed tasks into MS Project plan
- Help define and organize tasks into reportable work streams
- Manage detailed project plan for business program
- Elicit status from teams and update plan
- Report status on critical timelines
- Provide tasks by resource as needed by team leads
- Manage issues and risks
- Attend status reviews and capture issues and risks
- Document issues and risks in SharePoint site
- Follow up with team leads to resolve and report issues and risks
- Document action items and high level notes
- Attend status reviews and capture action items
- Follow up on action items with team leads
- Provide written status of action items until closed (coordinating with plan activities)
- Manage program SharePoint site
- User access
- Control Logs (issues, risks, decisions, etc.)
- Help program managers with reports and coordination
- Executive level status reporting
Required Skills and Experience:
- BS in computer or related field
- Proven experience with MS Project
- Recent experience in managing large projects with high complexity
- Proven experience managing medium to large project teams consisting of both offshore / off site resources
- Previous experience managing / controlling project budgets greater than $5M
- Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to work with C-Level project sponsors
- Minimum 10 + years of experience
- Strong analytical, leadership, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills
- Strong communications skills both oral and written
- Proficient PC Skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Demonstrates working knowledge of project management PMBOK methodology and SDLC and basic knowledge of program management
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, stakeholder management, process adherence, ownership/ commitment, learning agility and risk management capabilities
