Position : Sr Storage Engineer

Location : Jersey City

Duration : 6 Months Plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, 5+ years of related work experience.

. Extensive experience in several of the following areas:

. EMC VMAX, VNX2, VNX.

HDS VSP, HUSvm, HUS, HNAS, array virtualization.

IBM DS8870, DS3500, XIV, SVC virtualization.

Replication technologies, Brocade FCIP, EMC SRDF, HDS HUR, EMC RecoverPoint.

Brocade SAN administration and maintenance.

Backup technologies, CommVault Simpana, Legato Networker, IBM tape libraries.

Multipathing (MPIO) technologies on various platforms (Windows/Linux/Solaris).

 

Knowledge of database technologies, including MSSQL, Oracle 11g RAC, ASM, RMAN, and experience supporting enterprise database applications.

Understand virtualization technologies, VMware, Citrix and OpenStack is a plus
