Job Description:
We are currently seeking qualified talent to be responsible for planning and performing data validation for the function to support regulatory submissions for Client. Participates the in the development of analytical tools and solutions to the support business as usual.
Essential Job Functions
· Identifies issue with ETL loads and executes validation scripts to ensure that data meets requirements within established deadlines.
· Creates, prepares, and documents detailed specifications of the programs utilized to pull data. Includes: creation and use of documents to facilitate the request and data integrity of the data that is provided to the internal customer.
· Analyzes and recommends business, technology, and process improvement opportunities.
· Provides technical assistance to SME's and work closely with release team
· May analyze and make recommends on business, technology, and process improvement opportunities.
· Generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries
· Ability to work with and support Senior Management and be accountable for disseminating and summarizing information into a format that can facilitate high level decision making processes.
Qualifications – Internal
· Education Required Education or Equivalent Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in IS, Computer Science or a related field
· Master's/Advanced Degree in IS, Computer Science or a related field
· 5- 7 years information technology experience
· 5+ Years in Technology Development & Data Analytics
· Alternative: Combination of education and experience (years /description) 3 - 5 years in Technology Development & Data Analytics
Field of Experience
- Ability to analytical and data integrity problems while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
- Experience in building relational data structures, including relationships between tables and grouping data.
- Technical skills to manipulate and analyze data in a variety of formats (e.g. SAS, SQL, Access, Oracle, Macros, Excel)
- Experienced in working with Macros either in Excel or Macro Express.
- Experienced with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis.
- A forward thinker, always thinking of solutions outside the box.
- Provides recommendations to streamline tasks and create a more efficient working environment.
- Up to date with the latest technological advances.
- The ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
