Job Title: VB 6.0 Developer

Location: Austin, TX

Type of hire: Contract

 

80% VB 6.0 and 20% .NET + SQL experience

 

Must Have Skills:

6+ of hands on experience in VB 6.0, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL SERVER, WCF, Webservices & TFS.

 Desired Skills: MSSQL

 Job Responsibilities:

§  Ability to understand system design and architecture

§  6+ of hands on experience  in VB 6.0, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL SERVER, WCF, Webservices, Team Foundation Server and Build execution, IIS setup and configuration

§  At least 2+ years of experience in SQL server , SQL Agent, SSIS, SSRS & OLAP

§  Knowledge of design patterns

§  Experience with windows/web product development and service oriented architecture.

§  Provide technical leadership to the team to implement and maintain web applications.

§  Experience in leading technical project teams in Onsite and Offshore.

§  Comfortable in a client-facing role with practiced technical presentation skills
