Job Description

 

Essential Skills  -

10+ years experience in Hyperion  with Strong Communication  skills

Based in Lexington, MA

 

Roles &  Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                                                                

•      Ensure system maximum availability for all components to ensure we have a robust, reliable and performing Hyperion solution for Finance.

•      Design, installation, configuration and evaluation of proof-of-concepts.

•      Working directly with the vendor and have detailed understanding of the existing infrastructure and configuration.

•      Design, installation and configuration for full implementation of Server software and on-going evaluation and application of maintenance patches including major version upgrades (e.g. v3/v9 to v11.1.1.3 and v11.1.1.3 to v11.1.2.3).

•      Design, installation and configuration for full implementation of Client software and on-going evaluation and application of maintenance patches. 

•      Design, installation and configuration for Citrix solutions for external Consultants

•      Design, configuration and testing for custom DR and data recovery solutions (Daily LCM exports, custom exports, environment synchronization).

•      Design, configuration and testing for custom server/application/process monitoring and alerting scripts.

•      Design, configuration and testing for Performance and load testing for servers and applications (e.g. HP performance center, Load Runner, Perfmon, TMart, OpNet, IOMeter/CrystalDiskMark, CPU SuperPI Test, Network, and custom Hyperion applications and scripts). 

•      Server capacity monitoring and planning.

•      New application creation.

•      On-going application and system housekeeping, application monitoring/tuning and health checks to ensure performance is maintained.

•      Monitoring of physical and virtual server and infrastructure to ensure performance is maintained.

•      Planned Monthly Production Copy of application to QA to allow testing of metadata changes

•      Planned Monthly OS patching of all servers (DEV = Week 1, QA = Week 2, PROD = Week 3). This requires checking the environments have restarted correctly.

•      Ad-hoc environment refreshes for all components (HFM, Essbase, Planning, FDM, HSF, Shared Services, Financial Reports, CXO, SQL Server, Custom scripts/Processes, CXO).

•      Technical issue troubleshooting for all Hyperion and non-Hyperion (e.g.  CXO, EPM Maestro, Citrix, Custom Hyperion Portal, Firmstep user & metadata workflow tool, custom scripts) components.

•      SOX - Production of the custom monthly insider report.

•      SOX - ensuring user access has been setup according to the approvals.

•      SOX - HFM task audit to show metadata, security and rules changes.

•      SOX – Documentation, testing and approval of infrastructure changes.

•      SOX – Production of monthly license usage reports.

•      SOX – Obtaining any additional information or responding to ad-hoc auditor (internal and external) queries to ensure compliance.

•      SOX – Ensure all evidence is in place and accurate each month.

•      End User support (technical), e.g. connection issues, client software issues.

•      Addressing product bugs and where necessary escalating with Oracle, CXO and/or 3^rd line support.

•      Custom scripts for automating tasks (e.g. Planning/Essbase metadata loads).

•      Custom data integrations between Hyperion applications.

•      Support for IT project impacts, e.g. McAfee rollout, IE browser upgrades, Windows/Office upgrades, Smart View packaging/testing/rollout.

•      Ad-hoc support, technical reviews and training to MI Team.
