Job Title: Siebel Admin
Location: Pontiac, MI
Duration: 12 months
The Siebel Administrator/Analytics Consultant leads technical project teams in designing, developing, selling, supporting and delivering a portfolio of Siebel Analytics service offerings.
The Siebel Administrator/Analytics Consultant will design, develop and implement specialized solutions to meet the client's needs. Analyze data and recommend solutions as a specialized member of the project team. Assist in the planning phase of the project and deliver the results to the client. Develop and assist in making informal presentations to client teams. Participate in business development activities by assisting with scoping potential engagements and preparing proposals. Assist with the development of service offerings and apply knowledge in area of specialization while acquiring experience in related specializations. Also work as part of the Data Team focused on providing usable data for Oracle Siebel offerings.
Perform code migrations and other infrastructure activities. Troubleshoot environment issues and provide operational support.
The position requires on-call support, extensive weekend support and flexibility with working schedules
Support for client during business hours Monday-Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM CT
On-call as needed to support escalations
Weekend work for patching, upgrades, etc. during client maintenance window - typically Sunday morning between 12:01 AM - 6:00 AM CT
Education and Experience Required for Siebel Administrator/Analytics Consultant:
- 5 years Oracle Siebel experience in commercial or public sector.
- Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years related experience or a Master's degree
and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Experience w/OBIEE (Siebel Analytics), Actuate, ETL (Informatica) and Analytics Report development required
- Min. 2 year experience in hands on experience in Siebel 7.x or higher
- Min. 2 year experience in Rational
- Min. 1 year experience in Tivoli
- Min. 2 year experience in Unix/Linux
- Siebel Certified
- Min. 2 year experience in System and Siebel Administration
- Siebel EIM and EAI experience a plus
- Experience with Siebel 8.1 preferred
- Experience with version 7.8 or higher for Siebel CRM, Siebel Call Center
- Experience working with Workflow Manager, Assignment Manager
- Experience w/Oracle 10g or higher, MS SQL Server and Windows environment
- Experience working in with Unix/Linux command line
- Creation of Siebel Schema, applying SQLs on Database
- Strong, hands-on experience with Siebel modules.
- Solid knowledge of and experience with Siebel navigation
- Solid knowledge of and experience with Siebel tools environment
- Solid experience with Siebel Tools configuration a plus
- Solid experience with IIS installation and configuration
- Solid experience with Windows 2003 or higher
- Solid experience with Installation and configuration of 7.8 or higher
- Experience in designing system solutions and enhancements.
- Investigation of Siebel Core crashes and identifying the root cause for crashes
- Administration and Maintenance of Siebel Enterprise along with application software
