Technical/Functional Skills:
Skills: Linux/Unix system administration, Puppet, Ansible, Java , Python/Perl/ Ruby/shell scripting, SQL, XML, Jboss EAP, WebSphere, WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, JBOSS
Tools: Rally/JIRA , GIT BASH, SVN, Jenkins, BAMBOO, Hudson, Maven ANT, jUnit, Test NG, Sonarqube, Nexus, uDeploy, Nagios, CA APM, CA DevTest, Oracle10g/11g and Liquibase
Experience Required:
· Experience working with Continuous Integration builds (preferably with Jenkins)
· Working experience with Ant/Maven or similar build tools
· Experience in building CI pipeline with Code quality and Unit Test frameworks
· Experience working with Continuous deployment tools like uDeploy
· Deep and extensive knowledge of Linux systems: troubleshooting, tuning, internals, etc.
· Strong understanding of Internet technologies, including DNS, SSH/SSL, load balancing and security
· Working experience in Environment configuration and setup
· Experience in DB versioning and deployment
· Ability to setup and work in Cloud environment
· Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
· Strong grasp of automation tools
· Ability to code and script
· Proficiency with monitoring tools and concepts
· Experience with systems and IT operations
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Design, Develop and Maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) environments to facilitate an agile development process
· Configure and manage build process using Configuration Management, Build, Unit Testing and CI automation tools
· Review overall application deployment and hot fix scripts to verify application/environment and DB components are set to execute in the proper sequence.
· Develop and improve new and existing build, deploy, and installer scripts
· Setup and Configure cloud based environment to enable automated deployment
· Aligning with Organization Roadmap and Ensure on time delivery
· Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
· Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues quickly with build or automated deployments
· Regular monitoring and maintenance of application environment, ensuring high uptime
· Provide week-end support as required
· Perform point-in-time Environment/database restorations as needed
