Job Description
- Knowledge of IBM Infosphere Datastage 8.1/8.7/9.1
- Worked in ETL technologies for 6+ years and 3+ years in Datastage
- Strong Knowledge of SQL and Unix/Linux scripting
- Developed Datastage jobs with SQL server/DB2/Oracle back-end
- Gather integration requirements from Business or Business Analyst
- Participation in meetings related to design and Solution Design
- Document overall solution design
- Development of Datastage jobs per established standards
- Create sequencers
- Scheduling jobs in CTRL-M/Autosys
- Estimation activities for impacted jobs in DataStage
- Analysis of existing schedules in Control-M
- Prepare the cut-over plan
- Provide production support for implemented jobs
- Troubleshooting and finding root causes for job issues
