SAP BI/BO Migration/Admin Consultant
Work Location Houston, TX

Required- This role would require:-
  • Strong background in Business Objects XI R3.1 & 4.1 suits - Development and administration, with in Reports/Universe Design, Administration, Use of Upgrade Management Tool & Report Conversion toolset.
  • Highly desirable would be the experience of performing an upgrade to BO 4.1
  • Ability to design Universes from scratch and extend upon existing ones. Deep understanding of the correct use of contexts, aliases, and access level restriction level (Row/Object level).
  • Report creation using deski, webi browser and webi rich clients. Highly desirable would be extensive experience of converting deski into webi reports. 
  • CMS/CMC user creation and server administration (access level securities) is mandaory
  • Monitoring the server (apache and tomcat severs) and issue resolution.
  • Good knowledge on Data modelling and Data warehousing concepts.
Nice to have-
  • Good experience in Oracle.
  • Exposure to Informatica 9.1 preferred.
Generic-
  • Good communication skills (Oral and written) to get the clarification from the offshore/onshore technical team and to be able draft technical approach documents
  • Good understanding on the various development life cycles like Water Fall, Agile.
  • Gather requirements from Customer and Implement the same as per the standards.
  • Review work performed by team members.
