Position: Mobile Developer

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration: 6+ Month/ Contract to Hire

Interview: Phone and In Person

Must be USC, GC or EAD - GC

Job Description: 

·         Experience in Android app development 

·         Experience in iOS app development 

·         Our client is looking for LA-based candidates for Android and iOS candidates 

·         For node.js experienced candidates that could be LA or Costa Mesa 

·         A key difference this time is that our client is going XP in our development process. This means key requirements are Test Driven Development (TDD) and interest if not experience in pair programming.   

Responsibilities:   

·         3-5 year web development of mission critical highly available web applications 

·         Proven experience building scalable JavaScript web applications 

·         Strong knowledge of cross-platform and cross-browser web development 

·         Experience building web applications using extreme programming (XP)practices and leans software principles 

·         Experience implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) as a required and valued practice 

·         Proficient in mobile native iOS and/or Android app development 

·         1-2 year experience designing and implementing service layers to support interactive web and native mobile applications 

·         1-2 year experience with Node.js would be a big plus 

·         Experience with XML and JSON 

·         Experience with things like Bootstrap 

·         Exposure to web frameworks, server and client side, such as Express, Spring, Angular, React JS, ASP.NET MVC 

·         Familiarity with secure coding practices 

·         Strong knowledge of cross-platform and cross-browser web development 

·         Strong communication skills and interest in a pair-programming environment 

·         Love learning and applying emerging technologies, such as iOT and connected car technology 

·         Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and challenging problems
