Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
· Hands on experience working on DB2 V10.5 LUW (UDB). Preferably Linux and Vmware. (Not mainframe DB2 Z/OS).
· Hands on exp. On DB installation, upgrade, apply fix packs, maintenance & performacne monitoring.
· Hands on exp. On Database design tools. Preferably Embarcadero Data Architect.
· Experience on HADR setup.
· Experience on optim infosphere tools. TDM, Guardium, S-gate & OPM.
Roles and responsibility Role - DBA
· Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
· Experience on ETL.
· Experience on Data studio. Pref. V 4.1.1
· Experience on change management process. Pref. Jazz.
· Experience on document control process. Pref. SVN.
· Experience on automatic scheduling on DB activities.
· Experience on Unix shell scripting related to DB activities.
· Authentication & authorization setup.
· Knowledge on complex SQL, stored procedure, UDT, trigger, views etc.
