Role: C++ Developer

Location: Montreal, QC  (Canada)

Duration: Long Term

 

Job Description:
Looking for a person who have knowledge of :
- CPU Architecture
- Name Mangling
- VTables
- Linux Operating System
- Design Patterns
- Coding techniques for low latency programming
 
Position Description:
 •       Developing low latency C++ libraries which would be imbedded in latency sensitive order managers/trading systems.
•       Work closely with core C++ development team in North America and Mumbai, as well as extended GUI and Integration teams in Mumbai, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London and Budapest.
•       Interact directly, and build strong relationships with development teams for low latency trading systems, as well as Risk Officers and business users to understand requirements, implement solutions and troubleshoot issues.
•       Develop and maintain the TRC suite of applications, and contribute to its design and architecture.
•       Gain a good understanding of the Morgan Stanley business to facilitate communication with business users.
  
Skills Required:
 -- Strong UNIX/Linux skill
-- Strong development experience in C++ (low latency)
-- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
-- Proven ability to multitask and deliver multiple projects

Good to have skills:
-- Scripting (Python, Perl, Shell, etc.)
-- FIX Protocol
-- Knowledge of Front Office Trading workflow (preferably Equity trading)
