Position: Python Developer 

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: 6+ Month/ Contract

Interview: Phone and In Person

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• A successful candidate must have 8 + years of python development and some comfort with SQL and Relational databases, UNIX shell scripting or programming languages such as Ruby or C. 
  
• The candidate must have been a significant party in multiple successful enterprise project deliveries. 
  
• In addition to Python, experience with object databases and relational databases is preferred.   
  
• At this level, the candidate should expect to participate in negotiations with high-level stakeholders and help keep the team processes robust, including test-driven development and source code control practices. 
  
• The candidate will be responsible for mapping user requirements to system requirements, system requirements to technical specifications, and specs to functionality. 
  
• She or he will be expected to review code, provide consulting to developers on other projects and mentor more junior staff. 
  
• The candidate may infrequently be called upon to perform off-hours support.
