Position: Business Analyst w/ Payment Transaction 

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6+ Month/ Contract

Interview: Phone and In Person

Scope:

We're in need of someone with Financial and payment transactions processing along with a SQL/Report Writing background.

Analyst will drive User Stories and Business Requirements.  Must be able to see the application from a database and data perspective – the environment is JAVA/Oracle.

Must have the ability to work through details with an internal Payment application, and be able to understand databases, database definitions, and technical performance requirements. They will work with the Business but must also understand the technical side. Ultimately they need to be able to meet with the business teams and discuss what we do and do not support today, while driving new features and troubleshooting issues.

This resource needs to understand the database view of the application, be able to learn the Payment domain, be able to write queries, understand SQL, pull data from database, understand how the payment system works,

Required skills:

A background in finance or ecommerce, understanding of payment transaction processing.

Extensive SQL and report writing

Technical and Business (functional) background, ability work with both.

User Stories and Requirements writing

Strong understanding of databases

Solid communicator- Bridge with engineers and finance department

Participate with designs, work with test engineers, work with test cases.

Someone who was a developer and has moved into requirements analysis ideal.

Able to talk at a high level and translate the technical requirements
