Position: Test Automation Engineer( Android)

Location: Novi, MI

Duration: Long Term

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

- Analyses requirements and design specifications for given projects;

- Participates in feasibility analysis and overall planning for implementation;

- Implements, unit tests (including automation), debugs and integrates code of high complexity.

Skills & Experience required:

- C/C++ proficiency;

- Hands on experience with any of the Android Open source projects;

- Working knowledge of Android Binder IPC, Android system services and Android HAL;

- Infotainment domain experience;

- Deep expertise in Software development on Android platform;

- Ability to code Android native services;

- Test automation / test development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- BS or above degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent;

- Working knowledge of QNX or Embedded Linux;

- Experience creating Java/Android applications is a plus;

- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills;

- Creative problem-solver capable of creating and reproducing complex software defects.
