Job Title              :   Devops Engineer

Job Location       :   West Valley City, UT

Duration              :  6 months + contract

Interview             :   Phone and Skype

Visa Status          :   US Citizen, Green Card, GC-EAD only.

 

 

 

Hiring manager update :

We need A Devops Engineer with Docker and Zuul Experience and Good with Tomcat OR jboss Server

Local OR Near around State candidates will work out .

What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? IDAAS - Optum Provisioning 

Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team? - Part of Team 
If so, please describe the team? (Name of team, size of team, etc.) - Part of a team of 12-15 engineers located primarily in SLC, UT and Hyderabad, India 

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) 
- Prepare an OSEv3 environment for the application 
- Prepare and establish edge routing with Zuul for the application APIs 
- Prepare and implement alert rules in New Relic 
- Prepare documentation and provide knowledge transfer sessions 
- Collaborate with other experts within the org to establish best practices 

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? 
- OSEv3 or higher 
- Docker 
- Zuul 
- Netflix OSS 
- Dynatrace/New Relic 

What skills/attributes are a must have? 
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with a distributed and diverse team 
- Ability to self-organize and own features/issues 
- Java/JBoss/Oracle
