Client is looking for an experienced, self-starting, front-end engineer who values simple, compostable, and reusable web UI code. The ideal candidate will be passionate about elegance and usability, will strongly believe in UX design, automated testing, and an iterative process to build high quality next generation enterprise software. We value tooling and testing that helps us move fast and experiment with new ideas
Client is looking for an experienced, self-starting, front-end engineer who values simple, compostable, and reusable web UI code. The ideal candidate will be passionate about elegance and usability, will strongly believe in UX design, automated testing, and an iterative process to build high quality next generation enterprise software. We value tooling and testing that helps us move fast and experiment with new ideas
This position is full-time and based in our office in Palo Alto, CA. We are starting an exciting new product initiative in the field of IoT security and you will be in on the ground floor as we shape its future direction. You will have a strong voice and influence in designing the user experience of this new product.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
At least 6 years of experience building web applications
Care equally about code quality and product quality
Have expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (we use Angular2)
Ability to write high performance, reusable code for UI components
Experience in dealing with complex client-side data flows and consuming APIs
Solid knowledge of testing principles
Believe in simple code over clever code
Believe that the last 10% of product polish is the most important
Experience in full-stack engineering is a plus
