Job Title: Voice Network Support Engineer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 12 months
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities and Competencies:
In-depth experience and support level knowledge of Voice over IP (VoIP), Voice routing and switching architecture.
Knowledge of Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) including Intelligent Call Manager (ICM), Cisco Voice Portal (IVR), Outbound Dialers, Finesse, and Exony VIM a plus.
Proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting UCS servers, Voice and Analog Gateways.
In-depth experience utilizing enterprise Voice management and diagnostic tools.
Excellent organizational, project management and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to management.
Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques.
Strong ability to understand client expectations and to resolve issues that may affect delivery.
Qualifications:
4 year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or related functional field) or equivalent.
CCNP Collaboration and/or equivalent work experience.
7+ years as a lead voice engineer in Voice network infrastructure.
10+ years of engineering, implementation and support of VoIP in large scale environments.
Working knowledge with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (MAP, HPNA/Opsware, Wild Packets, Fluke and Tivoli/Netcool OMNIbus).
Experience with Infrastructure Release Management methodologies.
Must have deployment and support experience with Voice solutions as follows:
Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) ,Cisco Unity Connection (CUC),Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (SME),Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunks,Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST),Voice Gateways, PSTN Trunks FXO, T1/E1 VWIC,Analog Gateways,Paging Gateways
